Mary escaped the war in South Sudan after losing her home, her family, and her mobility due to war injuries. She now lives in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement in a shelter that cannot protect her from harsh weather together with her two daughters. We are raising funds to build Mary a permanent home made from recycled plastic bottles, constructed by Upcycle Africa, an award-winning social enterprise that has built sustainable homes in 7+ refugee settlements across 11 African countries. This project will give Mary safety, dignity, and independence while removing plastic waste and empowering refugee youth. Be part of the solution, not part of the pollution.
