From temporary tents to permanent dignity in conflict-affected regions.
Refugee settlements often suffer from extreme lack of durable housing and a massive accumulation of plastic waste from aid distributions. Our Refugee Eco-housing program solves both. We train refugees to collect the waste within their settlements and build their own weather-proof homes.
This model is highly effective because it provides both immediate environmental cleanup and long-term security for families who may remain in the settlement for years.
Instead of clearing forests for timber, we use the plastic waste that is already present in the camps.
Refugees leave our program with masonry and recycling skills they can use wherever their journey takes them.
Removing plastic from drains reduces the breeding grounds for mosquitoes and malaria within the settlements.
Join our movement to close the plastic tap and build circular value across Africa. Your support scales our impact.
